Our Team

Andrew King is a dedicated steel specialist whose work is defined by precision, strength, and passion for the craft. He began his career in 2019 in steel work — a trade that runs through his blood — and has since built deep knowledge and expertise, bringing reliability and skill to every project while earning the trust and respect of those he works with.

Outside of his profession, Andrew lives life with the same sense of energy and adventure. He is an avid snowboarder who thrives on the rush of the slopes, a motorcycle enthusiast who enjoys the freedom of the open road, and a traveler who seeks out new places, cultures, and experiences with curiosity and enthusiasm. He also loves exploring various hot springs and boating whenever he can.

Known for his drive and passion, Andrew combines his professional expertise with a love for exploration, always looking toward new challenges and opportunities.

Jean Phillipe Bruneau has built a life defined by dedication, versatility, and a passion for the outdoors. He served as a paramedic and firefighter starting in 2019, answering calls in moments when courage and compassion mattered most. He then spent over 15 years mastering the craft of roofing, beginning in 2008, and later pursued butchery starting in 2019, where precision and skill guided his work.

Beyond his professional path, Jean Phillipe thrives in the outdoors. An avid hunter, fisherman, hiker, and snowboarder, he finds joy in every season. Known for his positivity, easygoing nature, and infectious laughter, he approaches each day with gratitude and enthusiasm.

With more than 24 years of experience in the steel, sheet metal, and cladding industry, Nigel Cochrane has built his career on expertise, dedication, and a strong commitment to quality, starting in 2000. Known for his hands-on approach, he continues to bring innovation and reliability to every project.

Outside of work, Nigel is first and foremost a family man, devoted to his wife and their two young daughters. He loves to travel, explore new places, and enjoy great food along the way. A natural athlete, he is an avid golfer and fisherman, as well as a skilled sledder and downhill skier who thrives in the outdoors year-round.

Nigel is also deeply committed to giving back. With compassion and understanding, he dedicates time to supporting people struggling with addiction, mentoring and coaching them through recovery.

Balancing professional experience with a love for life’s adventures and a heart for helping others, Nigel strives to grow, connect, and make a lasting difference both at work and in his community

Brodie began his career in 2009 through a dual credit welding program. After finishing the program, he went up north to start his welding career, where he quickly fell in love with ironworking. He pursued formal training at BCIT for ironworking and eventually joined the union, solidifying his path in the trade.

Later, when work was slow, Brodie began a carpentry apprenticeship, focusing on framing and forming. Once opportunities in ironworking picked up again, he returned to the trade and has never looked back.

Brodie comes from a family of highly skilled carpenters and is a natural at working at heights, erecting and connecting steel structures. Outside of work, he is a devoted family man, an excellent hunter, an avid skier who loves shredding the powder at Big White, and enjoys hitting the golf course whenever possible. Known among friends for his singing and dancing, Brodie brings energy, humor, and joy to both work and life.

Brodie combines professional expertise with a love for adventure and life’s pleasures, always approaching both work and play with enthusiasm, skill, and a genuine passion for excellence.

Zachary Kennedy is a dedicated professional who began his career in the trades in 2014, working under the guidance of his father — his best friend, mentor, and a highly skilled ironworker. Over the years, he earned his Red Seal certification, demonstrating both expertise and a commitment to excellence in his craft. Zachary is also deeply passionate about maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring that every worker on site is protected and supported.

Beyond his career, Zachary lives life with balance and passion. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing, camping, and skiing, always finding joy in time spent in nature. Family is at the center of his life, and he cherishes moments shared with loved ones. With a keen eye for detail and creativity, Zachary also pursues photography, capturing the beauty of the world around him through his lens. And when it comes to gathering with friends and family, Zachary is known for his incredible BBQ ribs on the smoker — a true favorite at the table.

Driven, grounded, and inspired by both his profession and personal passions, Zachary continues to build on his skills while making the most of every adventure.

Dominick Lhotak began his career in the trades with a year of apprenticeship as an electrician, but he quickly realized he wanted more thrill and challenge than the work provided. In 2019, he transitioned to steel work and quickly distinguished himself as a stellar connector and welder. Known for his precision, skill, and dedication, Dominick has earned a reputation for excellence on every project he takes on.

A devoted family man, Dominick is proud of his roots, coming from a family of hardworking immigrants from the Czech Republic. He is an avid outdoorsman who loves camping and fishing, often venturing into nature with his fully equipped camping truck. Dominick combines professional expertise with a passion for adventure, finding balance and joy in both his craft and the outdoors.

Amber is a dedicated and experienced professional with over 16 years at Schlumberger, where she built and repaired downhole oil pumps as a Pump Technician. Over the years, she expanded her role to include parts management, inventory control, and international logistics—handling global shipping documentation and ensuring smooth operations across facilities.

She has also taken on leadership and community-building roles, serving as Head of the Connect Women Program for North America, a member of the Loss Prevention and Service Quality Teams, and an active contributor to the Social Committee for over a decade. Amber is known for her strong work ethic, mentorship of new employees and engineers, and commitment to safety and quality.

Amber holds a two-year diploma in Financial Accounting from NAIT (2006–2008) and certifications in First Aid, Overhead Crane Operation, Forklift, and H2S safety.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, going for walks and hikes, gardening, reading, and relaxing with her cats.
